At ‘The National Organisation for Reducing Stress, Anxiety and Depression’, we are dedicated to improving mental health through preventative strategies.
Calm Teacher-Cool Parent…
is a project designed to provide teachers, parents, teenagers and children, both neurotypical and neurodivergent, with the tools they need to have the best mental health possible.
This means control over how we feel, how we react, our stress levels, our anxieties and our depression. It means sowing the seeds for having a life where we know how to prevent our emotions hijacking the life we should have.

CalmTeacher-CoolParent… is being piloted in North Wales, India, Ireland, Switzerland, the United States and Vietnam. In each place, teachers and staff in schools will work on building something to change their lives, the lives of the parents of the children that they work with, and the children themselves.

We recognize that the mental health of teachers directly impacts students. Our goal is to support teachers so they can provide the calm and nurturing environment that students deserve, fostering an atmosphere where both students and educators can flourish.
We understand the demands of the teaching profession. By addressing the mental health challenges faced by educators, we strive to retain skilled and passionate teachers, ensuring stability and continuity in education.
In response to the unique challenges faced by teachers, including funding cutbacks, increased workloads, and staff shortages, we are committed to offering a supportive environment that empowers educators to overcome these obstacles and focus on delivering quality education.
Together, we aim to build a resilient educational community where the wellbeing of teachers and students is prioritized, leading to a brighter future for all.
To start this process, we all need to understand what contributes to the stress, anxiety and depression that so many educationalists experience.
We will keep you informed of ways that we can reduce Stress, anxiety and depression in the profession, and you will hear about incentives and rewards for helping us to make a real difference.
